World crisis intervention while dining - so chic! Parties are later this year, so I'm free. Can't be Wednesday or Thursday, though (CCE and Choir for the kiddos) unless it is late. Hope we can get together!

Thanksgiving sounded yummy - similar to ours, although since we have lots more people, there was lots more food. I made carmelized onion tart, mock crab cakes and trailer-trashy pistacho nut pudding dessert, and that ramen noodle cabbage salad that I've modified with sesame oil and pignoli - it is WAY delish. We kind of had the same idea due to the weather for this week's menu. Tortilla soup here instead of gumbo, but it's all in the same warm, "soupy" family.
