I was reading other blogs on this topic and one person actually said, "King Kong was my first thought." Really? Your first thought? I wouldn't have thought it at all, but it was your first thought? It's just like the people who thought the orcs in Lord of the Rings represented black people. Personally, I thought they represented orcs. But I guess people like me are the racists for not noticing such connections.
