You all know I hate Oprah. I find her to be beyond a narcissist. I have also come to realize over the years she epitomizes the saying, “Money doesn’t buy you happiness.” Whether it is her weight going up and down, which say what you want, we all know that yo-yo dieting is something you do when you are unhappy with yourself so you lose weight. Then you start stressing and life starts being harder and you eat your weight back on + 10 pounds. Repeating often for typical results.

She has a fucking magazine or is it two now where she puts her own face on the cover of every single issue. She preaches about knowing yourself and doing good things but seems only interested in making sure everyone is aware of how wealthy she is and how she spends her money. She devotes hour long shows to over the top retail therapy a couple of times a year.

She has a media empire. She is one of the richest people in the world with a cult like following of women who tune in everyday to feel better about themselves and cry. Ugh. She was in a very long relationship and couldn’t bring herself to marry. She seems to have only one person she trusts, this Gayle person. She has gone from one self help philosophy to another, over and over. She is lost, this is not hard to see.

She has infected the web with her crap and apparently she has some webinars on her site now and picked a new guru for all of her minions to follow. At one time it was Dr. Phil, who while a jackass, at least seemed to be pretty much about keeping it real, so to speak. I can get on the reality bandwagon, hell we all should. Then it was The Secret which is all about the power of being positive and attracting positive things into your life. Sure, I can buy that to a point. Now it is A New Earth and this guy Ekhart Tolle is some new ager who says “God Is” he is not a belief. Basically she seems to have bought into the whole there is no need for Jesus thing the New Agers started in the 80’s.

Sad? Yes it is. However, if you are not worth billions and have the ability to drag millions of dumb ass people down the religion toilet with you. Definitely not if you have the power to influence the election and policy thereafter. I do not know about you, but I am not interested in a Department of Peace or some sort of wackjob in charge of tempering America Ego in the world. I like American Ego, thank you very much! Irony or whatever it is, I believe she sincerely wants to make the world a better place. I sincerely believe she wants to fill the hole in her soul with making other people happier. It still doesn’t make her any less dangerous.

This video is some sort of promo for a book about not drinking the Kool-Aid and has some clips from her New Earth Webinar with this Tolle guy. Have a gander. Something tells me this guy is on the Oprah gravy train. Maybe he wants the next Church of Scientology? If so, he has found a good bankroll to get him there.

Since the whole premise of this A New Earth crap is letting go of your ego, I feel certain Oprah will see an amazing pair of Manolo’s at some point and feel conflicted. She will say to herself, “Self, these Manolo’s will make me feel better. When I feel better I do not eat a three pound box of Belgian Chocolate with a side of mac and cheese. When I do not eat these things I stay thin. Ego therefor is a good thing. This Tolle guy is trying to make me fat!!” Then she will be off to the next New Age religion which can make her forget for a while she is as rich as powerful as she is and still a lost soul.
