LOTR on TNT
It has been on all weekend. Return of the King just started and it is the part where Pippin touches the giant marble eyeball thingie. It reminded me that Hobbits are not only gay, but stupid. It just goes to show they should have pushed him down the well in Moria in the first installment.
I must now to re-read The Very Secret Diaries which are utterly brilliant if you have never read them.

My husband has been watching most of the day – me, off and on. The movies are good to nap to. I still ask lots of questions. I wonder how many LOTR geeks have names their baby daughters Eowen. “I am no man!”
The best was several years ago as a gift I purchased LOTR Symphony tickets to see the Houston Symphony and Houston Symphony Chorus perform with Sissel as soloist. If only it could have been Renee Fleming or Annie Lennox as soloists… It was a great experience. Lots of visuals and the chanting and singing in Elvish was haunting. We had a good evening. If the SA symphony presents it and you at all enjoy symphony, you should see it. I know it is still being performed around the country.
Merry and Pippen just ran into battle. Tough little Hobbits. Poor Sam is too stupid to die. Aragorn is the hot. Orlando Bloom should seriously consider growing out his hair, dying it blonde and wearing blue contacts from now on. He’s smokin’ as an Elf, but just kind of blah as himself.
