American Idol: Fucking Neil Diamond Edition…Ugh

Ok, I was in the bath at 630 and well… I love my jacuzzi bathtub and I have been soaking and reading and forgot about Idol… doubt i missed much.
I fucking hate Neil Diamond… sorry. I ugh…
Dunno who I missed but Archuletta is on… meh. I think I will just do the whole stream of consciousness more than usual tonight. What is with this palm up thing he does? It makes me twitch. He has a nice voice… meh.
Ugh, Sayanara… I do not think I can make it through this show… honestly. Maybe I will read my latest vampire book. OOooo Vampire Smut rocks. Oh God Hello Again Hello… KILL ME NOW! This girl is no Beyonce… though I am not a Beyonce fan… still this is like Cruise ship Beyonce. Shrieky screaming shit. Ugh.
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH BARE FEET??? Did Idol lose their shoe budget?
Paula is having an out of body experience. She just thought Jason sang twice. She is soooo fucking altered.
Jason is singing September Morn… ugh. I think my ears will bleed soon.
David Cook… smokin’ hot… I need a moment alone. I cannot do anymore… there is nothing that is gong to compare… Adios!

I hate Neil Diamond as well. I think someone out there wants me to quit watching this show.
Anyway, I was flipping channels so I didn’t hear much from Jason Castro, but it sounded like the judges didn’t care for him.
I thought Syesha was allright. Personally, I think she has one of the best pure voices on the show, but really has trouble being even remotely interesting. But I still think she’s better than Jason, David Archuleta (who is also uninteresting) and Brooke.
David Cook did well as usual.
I didn’t hear Brooke’s second song, but choosing a song made famous by the Monkees probably isn’t the best way to be taken seriously. Should be voted off just for that.
And, a very special middle finger goes out to David Archuleta for singing the two most well known and, for me personally, least liked songs from an artist I can’t stand in the first place. If I could vote against contestants rather than for them, he would be on speed dial. Also, I seriously don’t understand the love he gets from the judges. Maybe I just don’t like the tone of his voice, but when they do the montage at the end of the show with all the singers back-to-back, he really stands out in not quite being up to par with the rest of them. Plus, he has kind of an airy, breathy quality to his singing at times that I don’t like (I don’t like this in most singers, not just him, but there are a few singers out there who can pull it off).
I don’t like anyone left, really. I like Brooke for a while and still believe that she would make some really great studio stuff, but she’s not a great performer. David Archuleta has a nice voice but he’s SO boring and his dad is gonna lead him directly into escaping into heroin. Jason is a kinda dumb hot boy you date in secret – he plays his guitar for you on the beach and you think it’s really sweet, but you only like it because he’s singing to you. He’s not star material. Syesha does have a good voice and she seems to perform with more gusto than the others, but she is weird looking and not entertaining to watch – and girl put on you shoes! I don’t get that at all. Wear some kick-ass stilettos. David Cook is talented and cute (sorry, I don’t think he’s totally hot, Jen). I don’t really get into him that much, though. I don’t particularly care for his re-working of the songs, although I appreciate how difficult it is to do that (even though he has “lifted” most of his arrangements from other bands off the Internet.)
Basicallly, I just don’t care anymore and tend to either fast-forward through the show if I even watch it at all.
Also, Neil Diamond isn’t my favorite, either, but like my husband (who kind of likes Neil…yeah, he has for shit taste in music – I keep trying to teach him but he doesn’t want to learn…) said last night. “All of these kids are just whispering the songs and Neil Diamond belts – that jewboy can yell.” While not very PC, he’s right – Neil Diamond sings with passion and conviction and sweat and those kids might as well have been humming.
You like Vampire novels? I assume that you have read all of Rices’ stuff? Even though I am a guy, I love her stuff. The Vampire Lestat was my fave. Such a cool idea..

I have read Ann Rice years ago. Good stuff and I enjoyed her Witch books as well though they were so bizarre I have to say they creeped me out a bit.
I hate myself every time I buy a Laurelle K Hamilton book, i really hate myself but I do it every single time. I will read pretty much anything vampire unless it gets too romancy then I balk. There has to be sufficient gore and death and darkness.
Truth is I will read anything paranormal come to think of it. Dig the shape shifters too.
I need to write one. I really do. I write good smut.
