What If Obama Loses…

He writes about the state of liberals in America and basically how they will all once again throw themselves on the ground and have a tantrum when yet another candidate loses to the evil conservative candidate.  He does begrudge it is a big “If” still with regard to the loss, but he paints a picture of what we all know will happen.

A rejection of Obama can only mean one of two things: a rejection of the 1960s formulation of liberalism (the current formulation, alas) or that America is deeply racist. Too many of them will go for the second hypotheses.

Too many think that elections turn on identities, not ideas.

Cries of vote fraud and racism will rule the day followed by months of the New York Elite blaming us unwashed and unenlightened idiots in fly-over America for once again dooming us.  Dooming us if you believe the answer to all the worlds problems is globalization, taking it in the ass from the extremists in the world, and socialism; this particular point of view is also called being European.

Anyway, as I neared the end of the article I ran across a really great definition of what liberalism is in America.  Yeah it has been said over and over by many folks, but his phrasing really does nail it to the floor.

If Obama loses–and it is still a big ‘if’–too many liberals will fail to heed the message that voters have been sending them since 1981. Seventy percent of the country is tired of 1960s liberalism. Indeed many find the hippie vision frightening: A country too ashamed of itself to fight its enemies, too unsure of itself to praise its own history,govern its children or corral its criminals,and too resentful of the rich to allow the economy to make more of them.

Amen to that!

Especially that last bit about being to resentful of the rich to allow the economy to make more rich people.  That said, I believe it goes much deeper than that.  I think it is more about naked male and female insecurity.  They know they are a bunch of pussies.  For all that’s holy they are mostly lawyers!  They all have money, all these liberal elitists.  They do not resent people being rich, they resent people being rich who believe in fighting their enemies instead of appeasing them, who praise their history instead of ridiculing and rewriting it, people who raise their children and cherish them instead of farming them out and leaving them to be raised by the housekeeping staff, and rich people who believe everyone should have the opportunity to be just like them.

It is simple weakness separating liberals from conservatives.  Not weakness in the prone to sin sort of way, but weakness in the burry your head in the sand sort of way.  If conservatives are allowed to rule their little elitist enclaves like NYC and San Francisco then where does that leave them?  Where do the Obamas, Pelosis and Reids of the world go when all is set right in this country?  What do they do if they lose their hold on Black Americans and stupid ass women who vote with the left in the name of feminism (a joke all its own)? What would they do if one day the minorities in this country, especially the Black community, woke up and said, “This shit aint right!  We have been fucked over royally and these rich crackers have been getting richer and more powerful by keeping me down.”  Talk about a change in the object of anger in the whole, Fight The Power point of view and bullet point number one on why liberals demonize conservatives; self preservation and abject terror of being held accountable by the unwashed, unwhite, uneducated masses who they hold sway over.

I am too much the cynic to believe the masses who chronicially fail to meet espectations and are rewarded for it with federal funds and hand outs advanced by the rich liberal elite will ever stop sucking the teet of the establishment to realize they are enslaving not only themselves but their children to a master who is more racist and more controling than any so called Christian Conservative War Monger like Bush or McCain could ever be.  It is testimony to this blindness that our current president, a man who has promoted more people of color into positions of power and who has done more to better the lives of people in poor African countries (incidentally the favorite cause of the liberal celebrities) than any White (so called) Compassionate Liberal President before him has been demonized and belittled with such voracity.  Still he is the bad guy, after all.. those were not real black people or latinos.  They are race traitors and uncle toms.  As for his helping out Africa, well the media refused to even acknowledge it and it too a freakin’ UK pop star writing an article to draw attention to it.  The very idea of Bush doing anything good is simply not covered by the MSM because if they do not report about it, it didn’t happen.

What is the answer?  Well, to quote Obama… “That is above my pay grade.”  To add a bit of demure...  I would just start culling the herd… starting with anyone and everyone who is a blight on society; from drug addicts and gang bangers right on up the food chain to corrupt agencies who are mandated to help citizens but really just fuck them over and finally to the lawyers…
