Day Two: It Still Isn’t The End of The World, But It Is The End Of Something… Part 2
So do we have any hope of gaining control of our futures again short of banking on the threat of terrorist action on American soil? I dunno, you tell me.
Do we have within our ranks or within the ranks of the political world a figure which can appeal to the masses?
Do we have another Ronald Reagan? Can we grow one in an Axlotl Tanks?
Can we find a moderate voice who still believes in small government, the value of life, the Second Amendment, and understands that we are not a nation that follows but a nation the world follows and what that means?
Can we find this person and have him/her accepted by the party if he maybe doesn’t fit the typical mold?
Can we as a party get behind someone who maybe has all those core values but is pro-choice?
Can we find a guy/gal willing to run and say to the low income people in this country…
“The Democrats have been pandering for your vote for years and have done nothing but make you poorer, less educated, and your neighborhoods battle zones. I am not going to take your entitlements from you, just as none of my predecessors have taken money from you. If you want to live a different life we are going to find a way to help you do that. If you are fine with your life as it is, then rest assured the status quo is gonna be there for you but that is all there every will be. I believe you want more for your children than this and I am going to help you get there.”
Hammer these communities with the proof that their liberal masters have done nothing to make their lives better. Some will care, many will not, but all you need is about 20% and this is a new world all of a sudden. There is one thing that the Republicans share with the minorities in this country and that is Faith as a central part of our lives. We are really the only people in this country still breeding; Evangelicals (Catholics and Mormons too), Hispanics, and Blacks. We are the only groups who think a Marriage should be a traditional one.
Abortion statistics are pretty staggering when you break them down racially. Black women make up something like 15% of the population but have upwards of 35% of all abortions. Hispanics women make up 8% of the population (guess based on 15% of Americans being Hispanic) and get upward of 20% of all abortions. I personally thing Margaret Sanger would feel proud that her plan for black genocide and culling the herd of mongrel genetic matter is moving along quite well.
“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
Margaret Sanger’s December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusett
I am not advocating that overturning Roe v Wade is a winning topic, because it isn’t. That battle was lost in the early seventies and will not be overturned. What can be changed is the way it is viewed and the general attitude Abortion is totally acceptable both morally and socially. If we cannot all agree it is a bad thing then we are fucked up. If we cannot agree that making Abortion easier to get, cheaper to afford, and socially equivalent to having breast augmentation is serving nothing but the worst part of human nature than we are beyond redemption. We may have lost the war to stop Abortion, but we do not have to agree to every term of surrender put before us.
To state simply, if we are going to get racial about things or allow the left to paint us as racist maybe we should throw some gasoline on the fire and blow it back their way, where the true racism lives and thrives. We need to stop pussyfooting around shit and simply state the fucking obvious:
The Liberal Elite is killing your future with abortion, ghetto life, and never ending poverty. They are chaining you to a new master, not one with a whip but one far worse. One who is killing your children, stifling your future, and treating you like cattle by keeping you fed, housed and truly apart from the best that America has to offer.
Stop refusing to address accusations of racial bigotry or simply saying “that isn’t true!” and start throwing shit back and stop worrying about being called a racist, they already have you labeled one. Take the fight to their own field.
There are black conservatives in this country who given the proper support and the means to take action would go to the same churches the left fills with their hate and shine some light on the truth of it. We do not need every black American to wake up and question the way they have been treated.
The biggest wall you will run into is the Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton/Jerry Wright wall. These men who have made their millions spewing divisive racist hate which has done nothing but make them fat and happy while their followers stay poor. After all, where would these men be if not for the hate and poverty that keeps them rich? I have said it before here on this blog and I have said it hundreds of times in conversation. The single greatest fear of the left is that one day enough blacks are going to start asking questions and demanding answers. That 20% of their sheep are going to demand another future other than the path to slaughter they were set upon with welfare. That is all it will take to change the future.
Hispanics might be easier in some ways and harder in others. Immigration is a big deal with Mexicans in particular. With regard to illegals; document everyone here, give them a social security number and start taxing them as you would anyone else. I have no issue with this. The downside of that is obvious though; more welfare recipients because the systems rewards you to not work and why would you spend 12 hours a day in the heat working on a highway when you could stay at home and do nothing. Do you put regulations in place to get work visas? You have two years to get naturalized or you lose your visa? You cannot receive any federal assistance aside from food stamps? There has to be a way to bring them into this society without killing their will to work. I do not know the answers but we cannot afford to allow the system to purge their work ethic. Conservatives are the only ones with any hope of solving this issue because we know what the answer is on the left; ghettos, welfare, dependency.
On a personal note and to my fellow Hispanics who were born here. You, my fellow first and second generation Hispanic Americans, the future of our many diverse cultures does not lie with the Liberal ideology. The only future they offer our people is a generic welfare state where they leave us our Catholicism and not much else, all the while passing laws that fly in the face of everything Christ’s Church teaches us.
I am a second generation Mexican and my grandfather didn’t immigrate to this country and work everyday to put food on the table for a household of 11 so his children and grandchildren could live off the federal government. My father, a first generation Mexican American, endured growing up in a time where simply color of your skin and the language you spoke at home decided your worth and managed to stay off the federal tit, raise a family, have a successful life. He didn’t do this so I could go get a government check and piss away every opportunity he created for me. The liberals have convinced the Black Americans in this country it is the best future they can ask for and we cannot let them convince us it is ours.

Okay my straight-talking, Latina friend – why are you not holding an office in government? There’s a spate of intelligent, qualified, American-born Hispanic (Rep.) candidates. I’m still working on my list of possibles for 2012 heavy on minorities and women. I had held out hope for JC Watts this time around – I was enthralled by him since the beginning of his congressional career. My new favorite is Alfonzo, the Macho Sauce dude from YouTube. He needs to put down the light saber and run for office. I don’t know a thing about his education or background, but he has a good grasp on what conservatism is and is a hell of a speaker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-JTd-8vUdw .
Demure/Macho 2012!
Margaret Sanger should have hooked up with Adolph Hitler had she not been so revolted by sex. What a monster.
Oh, and you are a big Dune geek.

Things to consider:
1) Republicans taking the Senate is pretty much out in 2010. They’ll have to keep all of their seats, plus beat half the Democrat incumbents.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_elections,_2010
2) Being down 70-something seats in the House isn’t very encouraging either. R’s will have to target 40+ vulnerable incumbents (if there ARE that many in the vulnerable category) while holding what they already have.
3) Beating Barack Obama in 2012 will take someone capable of raising a minimum of $500 million even if Obama’s a disaster, and upwards of $800 million if Obama’s at least mediocre.

I am still computer illiterate in many ways…..
If there is a way here to send you a personal message or email, I can’t find it.
I wanted to ask you about one of the “100 things about you”.
To suggest a few authors you might like and ask about something else.

Joe, perhaps we’ll all be more willing to donate a little of what isn’t taken away from us in the next 4 years to the 2012 campaign. It’s that important. One thing is for sure – the candidate/s need to be picked, vetted and groomed NOW. Obama ran the longest campaign ever. The party has to get our candidate/s comfortable with the idea and up to speed on what America will choose to elect. Some sacrifices may have to be made. The party may have to do long-term work on Congress – it probably can’t be fixed by 2010. However Republicans need to get the Presidential campaign planned imminently. Is there another Reagan?
Open question: Who is/are your pick/picks for 2012 – President and VP?
In no particular order:
Usual Suspects:
Bobby Jindal (like him, exorcisms notwithstanding. Hey at least he’s not an adulterer!)
Tim Pawlenty
Sarah Palin (if they don’t ruin her this week)
Mitt Romney (Boring, but rich)
Mike Huckabee (craaazy)
Condoleeza Rice (GWB tainted)
Kay Bailey Hutchison (blah)
Others Mentioned and New Considerations:
Devin Nunes
JC Watts (retired, but a good conservative)
Michael L. Williams
Olympia Snowe (moderate)
Susan Collins (moderate)
Linda Lingle (moderate)
My fun pick: Jeri Thompson (Fresh meat! Spitfire! Fred! as
First Dude!)

I am a Jindal fan, have been for a while and if he can truly clean up Loseyournanner than he can have my vote on blind faith.
Condi Rice is a non-starter unless she is going come out and be the first black/woman/lesbian president. Even if she isn’t gay that would be so awesome because the left would have no clue how to deal with that trifecta. heh.
JC Watts hasn’t run for a reason probably something he knows the media would savage him for and i do not blame him. That is the handicap the Right has. Our guys actually get vetted.
Huckabee is a really great affable guy and as you say craaaaaaaazy. Kay Bailey is too boring and old and i hear she has her eye on Rick Perry’s job. I read somewhere she has a small child and wants to come home and do the Gov gig so they can be more settled.
Jeri Thompson, hell yes. She is impressive and I love Fred.
I wish there was a fully qualified, really inspiring female to run against him in 2012. I think it is time for a woman president. A real ball breaker and not in the Hillary sense.

Yeah, Kay wants to be governor and she’ll probably win. Dull. I didn’t realize her kids were still young. I mean, I heard she adopted, but it seems long ago. I thought it was funny that her “facial rejuvenation” was for naught. Heh. She really thought she was going to get tapped for VP.
Condi as a triple threat would be awesome. She should come out as gay even if she isn’t.
Have wondered what led Watts to retire when he had such a bright future. Dude, I have to believe that he’s a good man. I’m not ready to give up on another one.
Let’s start the ball rolling for Jeri Thompson.
(Ha! one of my Captcha words was “Gerry”. It’s a sign!)

Sarah Palin is damaged goods. Fair or not, the media got the public to think she’s a buffoon. I think Dan Friggin’ Quayle has a better shot of winning.
I’m a Jeff Flake fan, but the reality is that I don’t see anyone capable of inspiring the half a billion that I mentioned. There’s too much animosity between the libertarian wing and the so-con wing right now, as I’m displaying.
Best R’s can hope for is a new Newt. Maybe Flake will come through on that.

Sarah Palin is not damaged goods. If you’re a Republican who fell for the media drubbing of her, then shame on you. The party can do w/o mindless drones like you.
I read in the NY Post this morning a story about how Tina Fey’s TV show was down 500,000 in viewership, despite an appearance by Oprah. Gotta love it!
