Political Bullshit: Sunday Edition

By jen

Seems President Elect Happypants is already chomping at the bit to get those pesky Bush era executive orders reversed. Namely the reversing of Mexico City Rule which forbids the use of federal aid funds to promote abortions abroad, like the Hyde Amendment prohibits federal funds to be used in the same way here in the States.  Basically, your tax dollars and mine are going to be funding abortions or at the very least facilitating them again.  He will also reverse the Executive Order banning embryonic stem cell research.

Nancy Pelosi is a font of endless elitist bullshit. You stupid fucking Californians.  All you stupid fucking Minorities who voted to ban gay marraige.  YOU. ARE. IGNORANT.

In a wide-ranging interview with The Chronicle, Pelosi said she believes some voters might not have fully understood the initiative, which overturned a state Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage. The measure was approved 52 to 48 percent.

“Unfortunately, I think people thought they were making a statement about what their view of same-sex marriage was,” the San Francisco Democrat said. “I don’t know if it was clear that this meant that we are amending the Constitution to diminish freedom in our state.”

What a cunt.  Seriously.  60 Million fucking idiots in this country voted to affirm this bitch’s POV when they elected Obama.  Jeeze, folks.  This shit is just starting.  Change indeed.   Treacher gets it right…
“Unfortunately, I think people thought they were making a statement about what their views of race relations and male beauty were,” the San Francisco Democrat said. “I don’t know if it was clear that this meant that we are picking the next President of the United States.”

Ugh…

Mandatory Community Service?  My ass!

Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year.

This has since be sanitized but still…

A few things spring to mind with regard to this little benign bit of policy.  I started a thread over on The Batcave about this the other day and the responses started pretty good then we sort of realized how far this could go and I got all ranty pants:

Let’s assume a few things:

1. The school is going to choose the community service activity, not the student.
2. Mandatory means the parents have no control over where it is and in service to whom/what.
(If this was left to families to decide on what is service and what isn’t. I can live with that, maybe…)

Just those two things alone will be an issue with MOST parents. To assume schools do not have a social agenda is being naive. Schools are becoming more and more indoctrination centers for the left’s social ideals that not every parent agrees with but when you cannot afford upwards of a 1k a month per kid for private education you are stuck. When the teachers union will not get out of the way of vouchers or tolerate making tuition tax deductible they are entirely too influential.

I got lectured by my 3rd grader about how we are killing the planet and how oil is bad and people should have to pay more as a penalty for harming the earth. Needless to say I had a word with that teacher.

I received a letter from school a while back which all students received talking about being sensitive to other religions during the holiday season by not wearing religious shirts. Are you fucking kidding me? That week my kid wore a t-shirt that has an image of the Virgin Mary on it. No one called me and they are damn lucky they didn’t.

Now you want me to let my kids be bussed or me to take them to an assigned location to serve their community in a way these same people see fit? Uhm… no. This is right up there with mandatory parenting classes for juniors and seniors. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? I do not give a rat’s red ass if these types of programs are because certain parents do not do their job and the school feels they have to make up for it. DO. NOT. CARE. Fuck them. I do my job. Most parents do their job. I am sick and fucking tired of bending to accommodate the shortcomings of the few. Sick of it. This is just more of the same crap. The state knows what’s best. EVERYONE is special. Yeah, right.

I guess you all now know where I stand on this little state funded servitude.

This isn’t political, but it seems apropos what with all the pissing on other people’s property…

KANYE WEST was more like PEE Diddy in Liverpool when he shocked fellow stars by weeing all over the carpet.

Kanye was in the city to collect the Ultimate Urban gong at the MTV bash.

The evening before, he showed up for a star-studded party in the city’s Carling Academy.

But he stunned fellow artists by not bothering to find a toilet backstage, choosing to relieve himself on the floor of a dressing room shared with the TING TINGS.

Speaking at the MTV Awards, drummer JULES DE MARTINO said: “We ask for a lot of unusual things on our backstage rider but that ain’t one of them!”

Yeah, really fucking apropos…

The worst blog I’ve ever read.

I have a perfect suggestion for mandatory public service:  picking cotton—to clothe the homeless, of course.

Hmm…why do I feel pretty sure that Boy Scout service projects won’t count as “service?”

worst blog ever?  I may need counseling after that sinks in…

bpinpa – seriously? Less than a week after the fucking second coming and already you’re trolling. Suck it you half-wit.

Anyway…

I think I’ll go to jail first. Thanks. Not going to happen. Whackjobs. The day “the state” sends my kids into the the hood to do some work for a welfare mom is the day my head explodes.

bpinpa was just startled to be reading a blog that didn’t contain the words “hope. change. YES WE CAN! bush/mcchimphitler/halliburton, war for oil, obama makes my leg tingle… etc.  you get the picture.  Thankfully she can find plenty of places for that.  that brainwashing, when it sinks in, makes a loud buzzing noise anytime anything counter left wing orthodoxy is said and it is just darn annoying!!

anyway, I went to that site you linked to and it just made me sad.  Amazing how people are so willing to put their faith in the worst educational system on the planet to take their kids for ANOTHER 50  hours and expect that to be a worthwhile endeavor.

Americans have become sheep, and they will happily go baa, baa, baa all the way to slaughter…

“The worst blog I’ve ever read.” Wonder what the best blog would be? Daily Kos? Democratic Underground? Andrew Sullivan?

Yes, if you do not subscribe to the Obama worldview and have the tenacity to state as such, then I guess you might have a hard time reading this particular blog.

Funny thing.   Democrats like to celebrate free speech, but then have no problem calling Republicans facists, trashing their worldview or otherwise trying to silence them (fairness doctrine anyone??)
