This is Why I Watch Amazing Race…

Talk about marching to his own drummer.  FUCKING HILARIOUS.  I honestly didn’t think it was possible for a person who looks almost normal to be so totally uncoordinated.  It is stunningly mockable.  LOVE IT!

This may spoil the show for you….BUT:

I know (not closely) Gus McLeod who was on TAR season 6 with his daughter Hera.  From discussions with him, I can tell you that the show is totally false.  I was a big fan until he started to explain the inner workings of the show.  The participants cannot be further than 30 feet from the camera… which explains why when they should just sprint for something…they can’t because the camera guy won’t run. 

Also, the people running the show can determine that you simply pull over to the side of the road and wait.  He said that early on in the show, he and Hera had developed a full days lead, but were just delayed until a more favored participant could catch up.  Had they been able to leave SA a day early….they would have been unstoppable.

Anyway… my guess is the frat boys aren’t that uncoordinated… I served in the Army many moons ago and while there are some soup sandwiches out there…. most people are NOT that stupid.
