I decided to tell my kids the truth….that only in a culture established by White Anglo Saxon Protestants could people be free enough to be stupid enough to ignore all that western culture has given them and opt for a pinko-commie, socialist bullshit, eco-weenie, quasi-euro-weenie sub-culture under the direction of a pathological narcissist (read fascist) who thinks he knows enough to run America because he’s a special semi-black man. WTF ever.

I think I’ve gone through the whole spectrum of emotions since the election – excepting perhaps menopause and severe dementia. And I’m working on the latter.

I’ve decided to adopt an attitude of utter snark for the next four years. I will take nothing seriously about this Presidency. I mean – why should I? The One is either gonna solve all the worlds problems (not!) or fail miserably (probably).

Besides – The Biden-baiting is gonna be great. I just feel it in my bones. He’s gonna be better’n Quayle.

All the husband and I can muster up is an attitude that we will give Obama the benefit of a doubt, UNTIL he does something bad for the USA.
Sadly, that won’t take very long.

McCain was our 3rd choice after Fred Thompson, and Romney. Romney was in the race only 16 days between Fred leaving and Romney annoucing he was quitting also.

The potential for entertainment re: the Coronation….Opps, I mean Inauguration comes not from the swearing in, but from the inevitable bad behavior afterwards from million(s) of intoxicated Democrats.
Remember the bars in DC will be open till 5 am Wed. or something like that.

We’re keeping the popcorn handy.
