Daughter No. 1 did something like this on her facebook page but I thought I would mix it up becaues she is girly and well… 19 years old so her lists were a bit too unjaded for me.

Ten Things About Me:

1. I have another new job starting on Feb 16th


2. I need another tattoo


3. I have read seven books in the last seven days


4. I have vowed to finish what I started writing a few years ago and be serious about it this year


5. I am a shit stirrer


6. I need a haircut


7. I want a new thumb ring


8. I have a daily fantasy where I get ten minutes alone in a room with Nancy Pelosi and a spatula


9. I lack the ability to censor myself around stupid people, I am compelled to mock them in a delightfully sing song tone which is a total fuck you in disguise.


10. My favorite color is red

1. Nothing worth having is ever free of charge be it monetary or emotional


2. No one owes you anything other than respect and that is only if you give it as well.


3. I will love you no matter what but I will never refrain from telling you when you are screwing up; it is my job.


4. A good man will love the things about you that drive others crazy


5. No man is worth selling out your dreams for


6. I have done everything I can to give you a sense of right and wrong.  There really are no gray areas.  There is no such things as situational ethics.  You are either doing the right thing or the wrong thing.  Whatever you are doing; right or wrong you must know the difference.


7. Never lie to yourself and never lie to your mother.


8. Friends come and go but you will always have your family.  I had four children so you would have each other when you are grown and I am gone.  Take care of each other because that is the Right thing to do.


9. Do not choose your career based on how much money you want to make; do something that will make you happy.   You can always marry money ;)
