The two middle girls are at the theater with hubby watching New Moon with all the other screaming girls in the county.  He txt me to say, “The lights just dimmed and the ceiling is cracking from the high pitched screams of the girls in the theater.  God love him, and better him than me.  I stayed home with the little one and ordered pizza and wings.  I watched the latest episode of Dexter and took a nice hot bath.  The only bad thing about evening for me so far is there isn’t a damn thing on tv now that I have caught up with Dexter.  I will probably get off this pc and work my puzzle for a little while.  God, I am so freakin’ boring.

wtf happened to Heidi Klum?  I watched the finale of Project Runway and she looks a totally different person and not in a good way.  Gone are the smile lines which I personally think were pretty cool.  I first thought it was botox, but I honestly think she had an full blown eye job.  Ugh.  Eye jobs rarely look natural in any way.  Her efforts to “retain youth” has actually made her look about 10 years older.  Should have kept the laugh lines, she was lovely.

Anyone watching White Collar?  I find it quite fun and while I am not a fan of pretty men, that is one seriously sexy actor.  I wonder if he has hip thingie?

My love of Fringe is growing by the week.  I am a fan and if you do not watch it, shame on you.  Between Fringe and Glee I am starting to love Fox again.

What a fucking shit month.  Work is INSANE.  Home has been INSANE what with all the death flu and whatnot.  I once enjoyed my browsing of headlines and blogs but the only thing i see is more and more fucking stupid fucking shit.  Everywhere I look and everything I hear is just one long chorus of shit courtesy of a President and congress out of control.

I for one am overwhelmed with a warm fuzzy sense of security since Fuknut is at the UN right now with his herd of unicorns trying to make this world full of bunnies and care bears for me.  Is it his fault that pesky Almondjoyhadine oogy man from Iran is being all cranky with his uranium and how much he has?  Seriously, I have total faith it i s all for medical use.  I feel safe though, Fuknut has said that he will not tolerate Iran with a bomb.  I heard him, yes I did.  His sweet words of optimism have purged me of my absurd realism and given me a new lease on life!  /end sarcasm.  Fuck you.  I would not give this bastard this keys to my car much less trust him with national security.  What a fucking bunch of idiots we have in this country that elected this moron.  For fuck’s sake some of his biggest fans are Chaves and Kadaffyfuckingduck!  This alone should make the Americans who voted for this douche shit themselves. I am watching Nickelback Live at Sturgis on Netflix right now and that is the one reason I am not smashing things.  Did I mention I hate September?  I try not to look directly at Chad Kroeger because the guy looks like my ex husband way too much; just shave his head.  Of course I would like to thank Brian again for pointing this out to me.

This little earmark in Defense bill seems to be drawing a bit of attention:

“Whatever beneficial value civic education may have, it’s hard to see why the Defense Department should pay for it,’’ said Laura Peterson, a senior policy analyst at the nonpartisan Taxpayers for Common Sense in Washington. “It would seem the location of this hefty earmark has more to do with the powerful position of its sponsor than [the Defense Department’s] responsibility to educate elementary school children.’’

This watchdog groups are so fucking literal.  Defense Department/Education Department they are right by each other in the Alphabetical list of Gov Departments, no?  Close enough for government work as they say…  Teraaaazaaah’s  Bitch has this to say:

Wasn’t sure I would like this show but I love it.  It is obvious the demographic is across the board.  As a child of the 80’s this shows is fucking brilliant as a mom of three little ones I say this is not appropriate for the young ones.  LOVE IT.

So far this is the most fucked up psycho serial killer I have seen on TV in a while.  The main cop guy is great and gave me and my husband our newest phrase du jour:  “Take the piss.  Don’t take the piss!”  which according to the Online Slang Dictionary means:

I think everyone should use this phrase at least once a day this week.  It is nearly as good as bag of dicks.

This episode was in a nutshell about a guy who kills women he is in prison.  The one woman that he let go is  being stalked again as though it were him.  Blah blah blah.  The cops think he was not working alone back when he was killing so they are searching for the guy.  The woman who survived is sort of off and you know she is hiding stuff you find out she had sex with the killer when she was captive because she knew it was th only way to survive.  She had made herself his muse and created his “calling card” for his kills.  She just wanted free.  She was his first victim etc.  Bitch did what she had to do to live.  We get it.  Her “friend” who saw her through her recovery is obviously “off” but you do not know he is the stalker.  Then there is the childhood friend of the killer who you assume from the begining is the guy who helped him etc.  About 2/3 of the way through this, with all these men vying for the attention of this one surviving victim, my husband says, “She must have been one serious piece of ass to get all these men all fired up like this.”   He too has a gift for stating the obvious and he got bonus points for being grossly inappropriate.

Anyway, if you have Netflix go watch it on demand online or better yet buy the damn Roku box. I love it.  I think it works through xbox 360 via xbox love as well!

Ok, my TV OCD is in overdrive as I have documented a few times in the last weeks.  First it was Sons of Anarchy, then it was fringer, then it was Life, then NCIS etc.  Well, I was reading an article about the mid-season replacements on CBS and it appears they are bringing a show back from the summer called Flashpoint.  I do not even remember it, but it is about a police tactical unit and well snipers, guns, and bombs are always going to get my attention.  Looked it up and found out it was a Canadian show CBS picked up for the slow time that received really great feedback etc.  Of course I have spent the last week seeking out the episodes online and found the first nine or Season 1 but then I found something called Season 2 pre-airs.  I think maybe this is still first season stuff that maybe didn’t show everywhere, I am not certain.  Nonetheless I watched all 13 episodes.  They are all good, first few are definitely “Canadian” in style and appearance.  I love Enrico Colantoni in just about everything I have seen him in. Mostly I am having a Mark Harmonesque moment about this Hugh Dillon guy. Oy…

Anyway back to the show…

It gets a bit corny at times and I cannot seem to get past the fact that Amy Joe girl who was the original Pink Power Ranger is one of the snipers but the show gets better as it progresses.  It also appears to have gotten more money for production because it begins to look like a really slick CBS CSI type show in the final four episodes.  Anyway, worth a watch when it comes back on after the new year.
